hello so I'm staying in a chateau for the week it's as crazy to me as it is to you I absolutely was awestruck when I showed up I am currently in the French Countryside about a few hours outside of Paris so my brother is an amazing planner of trips and he decided to rent a chateau for his 30th birthday an invite as many friends as possible sounds very bougie but it actually ended up being about fifty dollars per person per night because this place can sleep about 30 people and then there's a carriage house that can sleep about another 10.

there's 22 of us it's like adult summer camp a few friends that you might know from my other videos are here Gabby and Ashley my sister came my parents came it's just so special for one to celebrate my brother but also to be with like some of my best friends and my family we've actually been here for a couple days and I am in love with this type of life well this Chateau is obviously amazing I feel like the experience that we're having you could also get in like a simple Cottage of just enjoy nature slowing down and just enjoying other people's company and there's so much beautiful nature here on this property there's huge trees there's peacocks running around a dog cats horses there's a Rose Garden I think this is my personal habit it's just amazing to be here so I'm basically spending a week in the Chateau with all my favorite people let's have a week in the French Countryside living in a chateau shall we oh fire so every night we've been switching off who cooks tonight is Ashley and gabinai's night to cook I'm gonna make some Mexican bowls so let's cook for over 20 people shall we it's the girls night you guys ready to cook a little nervous what we're doing we're a little nervous hello everything's going well it wasn't going well crispy onions Mexican spices cilantro rice she's bubbling away the women have executed the best meal of the week no thanks to me we're gonna win we're gonna win after I slice my finger and paint it I got a band for really sharp objects foreign so as some of you may know I was born here in France actually but my life was quite different back then we lived in this tiny 70 square meter apartment in the outskirts of Paris and a lot of my earliest memories were just being carted around Cora 4 and stroller and eating baguettes not exactly chateaus and fine dining but my parents always wanted to share their love for France with us their kids so fast forward a few decades and here we are for my brother's 30th Quinn is without a doubt the most adventurous well-traveled person I know he was always my biggest inspiration to travel growing up as I saw him living in the Middle East traveling the world on a dime and he loved to exploring it's so much fun got back from exploring that cute little French town so Charming to see all the little towns when you're traveling outside like the major cities in different countries but oh my gosh this week has been one of my favorite weeks in a very long time for one it does kind of feel like adult summer camp it's like all these fun different games and activities and it's like you have so many people to hang out with and connect with but mostly just this type of environment is so peaceful really just like kind of boils life down to some of those most beautiful elements of like nature connection with others Community like yes we're staying in a chateau which is absolutely crazy but I think all the same feelings would apply staying in a cottage in a very beautiful natural location with fields and trees and places to bike and run and there's so many interesting people here and some people are working remote so during the day everyone's kind of doing their own thing and occasionally we'll meet back together for like a little day trip or to you know go to the pool but it's really the evenings and dinner like I said where everyone like comes together takes a break so I actually from my window I can see everybody having the cutest picnic outside so I think I'm gonna have to go join like look at this look how cute they are wow and now we decided to go on a little golden hour bike ride it's never seen call me by your name yet no I haven't we got Gabby all right you two biking is sunset I'm gonna get a dramatic shot girl you look so good dog probably the best living a good life hello good morning finished a lovely little workout and I'm just having like a chill day soaking in the full Chateau experience um we had a pool day going on in the back and very Fierce competition going on over here 6-0 with Mr table yeah you need to bring honor on the family name oh my gosh okay we'll do another round myself my competitive side coming out like watch it hello hi everyone we just had a lovely little pool day and we were gonna get some work done inside but we figured the weather's so beautiful let's go head under a tree have a big summertime situation and the light looks like this is little 8pm it feels like it's like 5 p.m it's amazing magic it's like golden hour for like three hours straight I'm gonna have another big beautiful dinner outside since there's so many of us we're kind of doing a lot of our own things during the day or people are working and coming and going but at dinner everybody like it's nice having a set time that it's like okay everyone get around the table all 22 of us yeah and like she's really good everything dress that I'm trying to wear a ton to get my money's worth and you can see from up here every time this bowl of pasta laughs
