want to be a good daughter and call my mother and I'll speak the truth how are you doing from Paris let the Paris Diaries begin I've been here for a couple days just kind of settling and I hly haven't really gotten out much it's honestly been pretty gray and gloomy but the sun is finally out today so I think we need to do some exploring and I'm obviously only just getting settled but it feels really here so far it's nice to reconnect with some people that I met in the fall and my French is still absolutely horrible but I can understand a lot more than last time which is a great feeling that like some of my studying is actually paying off I think I must be the world's slowest language learner I don't know how some of you guys like learn a language in like 3 to 4 months even like 6 months I'm like something about my brain the language element on there not click quickly for me I wish it did I will say I've mostly been spending some of my time alone just kind of like working and enjoying new little routines Pitter pattering around the apartment I love my like little introverted time in doing my own thing I feel like I just always end up doing a lot more when there's a friend to do it it with because the social anxiety of being like where do I sit in this cafe or restaurant like completely diminishes when you're with somebody in my case whereas when I'm by myself just like social anxiety is an alltime high but we do it anyways all that aside because the weather is good we have to go make the most of the day and see Paris got to do a little otd before I head out my outfits are going to be very repetitive because I pack two suitcases for like the next like seven months of my life we have Source unknown Bonnie and Clyde this is mango got my white leg p ants vagabon and we're ready let's go we go to the park just had lovely little ketchup and little Parks set but of course it looks like it's about about to rain so I think I'll either find a little bookstore or pop back to mine and have a little cozy afternoon I feel like that's the C can we take a second oh my goodness are you kidding me I can't believe I'm here I am so so grateful to be here experience perod in this season in this stage of my life I was a bit nervous going into this of just you know another solo Adventure but now that I'm here there is something magical about it right now I'm just so excited to like pour into new friendships go on dates you know get to know myself better and it's at aside time to find new sources of inspiration read and learn more about art and all the cheesy things like I am just yeah I'm so grateful I was It was kind of scary taking the leap and fully giving up my apartment and saying goodbye to friends and everything but now that I'm here I'm pinching myself I feel really lucky and really excited just to see how the rest of this year invols cuz I have no idea what's in store but this is it's pretty spectacular hello good morning how are we doing it's another gloomy day in Paris as to be expected let's go get some coffee shall we hello from a little workday checkin yes of course we already second a cup of coffee as we do I am just obsessed with this little apartment I haven't ever really fully lived alone I feel like the longest I've done it maybe like 2 months at a time and so to have my own space is such a treat I just love this little space like dream apartment for real I feel like the only thing with sometimes with living alone is that I can like get a little undisciplined I feel like I'm living with like a friend or a roommate there's someone around to like lowkey keep me a little bit more accountable and so I've been trying to make sure I stick to a good routine like doing a little workout in the morning I really love the quote that the way you live each day is a vote for the life you want because hear me out on this hear me out on this while I'm all for the soft girl life and screw being Ultra productive at the same time I think sometimes a pendulum can swing too far and if you're like too generous with yourself and too soft with yourself you'll never get anything done or become the person you want to be whether that's workwise intellectually physically relationally it takes hard work it takes structure and discipline at the same time to you know get to that next step of the type of person you want to be in the kind of life you want to have realizing it's a bit trickier establishing routines and healthy habits when you're fully on your own and there's no one there to like hold you accountable even if it's subconsciously and a little bit here I'm going to take a nice big work break and go to a couple different thrift stores and have like a little dinner and wine moment outside because it's really beautiful out which is so nice and yeah I'm just so happy to be here it was really hard to leave New York but I don't think I realized until I got out how much having like a new setting in a new environment and backdrop is just so refreshing and exciting and I'm so excited for Adventures to come you know hey how's it going hello how are we doing how's it going coming to you from Paris even summer in Paris is a little bit a bit gloomy I've had a couple lovely days being here so far I feel like all my like socializing in the fall paid off seen my videos before I I was in Paris for a little bit in the fall like a couple months and you know it was a bit it was a bit lonely if I'm being honest reached out to some people and I feel like it's paid off and now I know more people here which is so lovely and there's some people visiting like my friend Peter from New York who maybe you might remember for some Vlogs is visiting so I'll see him later today I'm about to check out this t- Salon that I've heard great things about I'm trying to like get to some more smaller museums that I've never been to and just see some more of Paris that haven't haven't yet seen I also am kind of thinking of doing a bit of a you little break and wanted to get your guys' opinions even though I sometimes go like 3 weeks without posting I've kind of always within that time still I'm like editing or filming or have videos in the works and kind of since I've started my channel I've never like actually had like a full Clean Slate of like not working on some kind of video I feel like when you've been yapping for like six to seven years in Vlogs you got to a point where you know like I'm not exactly super creatively inspired and I don't want to create things that are boring and to me it's kind of feeling boring and maybe instead do some short form style Vlogs like on Instagram rails and Tik Tok cuz it's like a little bit more casual and fun and then maybe come back with some more stylized videos but let me know your thoughts I am always curious what you guys want to see and I sometimes can't tell if something is just like boring and repetitive or if it's still what you're kind of like hoping for but I want to make things that are actually exciting and interesting and engaging anyways today will be cute though I'm excited to Vlog it so let's go check out this Museum we're starting the day off today with coffee journal and Museum dream combo I have never in a spots called M Roman and there's a really cute little Tesa on there so I think this is a good start to the day Museum was super cool the te house was so cute it was pretty busy plastic for Paris I'm like what's everyone doing out here on like a random Tuesday but then I'm there as well being a little bit of a tourist today because I haven't been to sakur in years and I feel like I didn't EXP for his neighborhood very much when I was here last and it's your C oh sorry locked out on my iPhone hello he was in Paris with friends this weekend and then I made him stay on to hang out with and now we're going to have a day you definitely didn't force me to one AR gladly be here what do we see Le bimbo oh Le bimbo it's your restaurant on our little hot girl walk walked all the way from the 18th down to rib go getting our steps in but the weather's so good that we're like let's just walk from and stop when
