paris vlog | friends visit from nyc, my favorite restaurants, & christmas time

thank you hello how's it going coming to you from my fourth week in paris i also haven't done that great of a job because for one as i mentioned the last vlog if you've seen that we're primarily working eastern standard time gabby and ashley my two best friends i'm living with here are still working remotely and so they have to work from like 3 p.m to 11 p.m so a lot of our weekdays are pretty boring we're just like do a little bit in the morning and then come back and just like work until super late so i haven't been vlogging in a couple days now but i'm so excited because a few of my best friends from new york are flying in for the weekend and we're gonna have a weekend in paris together this is something young me would have dreamt of of being able to travel like this with friends i did once host college but honestly everything else has pretty much been either alone or a last minute trip with one friend but my friends peter and nick flew in just a couple hours ago ashley has been here for a few days as well i'm gonna go meet them soon and i'm so excited it's gonna be such a fun weekend i'm excited to like try out some new restaurants go out see the parisian scene maybe go to some bars i did finally book my ticket back so the trip in total is gonna be about five and a half weeks so after they leave we have like one more short week they're actually coming over right now for the first time they're gonna come see the apartment and then we're gonna figure out what we want to do but let's go see that bend the knees the ashley's ashley s'more like assemble the view oh my god they're laughing so much on there literally i wore the same thing in every video because i packed horribly for five weeks in europe like two sweaters two coats two pairs of jeans and then like i don't know what filled up my suitcase something did but we're wearing the same stuff we booked a reservation and we're heading out to oni-sun which i'm so excited about i think i said in the last vlog that i was gonna go there and then like we ended up not being able to get in a little fusion restaurant i feel like i haven't actually had that many dinners out and so it'll be nice to like get some good food put on a little fit go see paris at night hours are actually good morning bye this is our real morning routine steve no sleep no sleep till brooklyn literally we have someone sleeping on the couch someone's sleeping in there someone's sleeping in that room i'm gonna do a little more reading maybe a little journaling maybe if i tell you that i love you hello hello cannot believe i haven't filmed in this location this really just shows off the beauty of the apartment i have like a fun little day planned it has been so so special being able to like have friends come visit have friends in town to be able to like be traveling long term with friends it's one of those things i feel like i like not to be cheesy but also to be cheesy drummed up as a kid is to have people who have like you know similar interests similar values or in similar places of life to be able to do something like this so it's just like it's been so fun it takes time to as an adult to attract certain people into your life but i feel like the people that are in my life right now like so many of us have just similar interests and values things that we prioritize everyone here has like obviously worked really hard to be able to be here so it's really cool people like do something like this and actually have it happen i've talked in past vlogs too about finding community in the city and how hard it can be as an adult but i just feel like new york has become a really beautiful place and it's really fun to see like new yorkers in paris as well as meeting new people in new cities just makes the world feel a lot smaller for those of you who have like watched my channel since i was in college it's been like a journey to get to where i am today hello it's us in the rain oh my gosh we forgot things left and right we had to sprint back to the apartment oh my god but i'm so excited i think it's gonna be such a fun friday full weekend i think it'll be a beautiful last full weekend yes we'd be bopping all over town who knows where the night will take us we're feeling very romantic i'm in love with myself and my friends happy saturday happy saturday we officially have one week left no it's tragic we're getting such a late start today literally just stick to daddy i did it last night at 4am she's crazy we were out about we decided to stay longer because i had so much energy when i danced but her and peter were like we're tired we get food but then they got dinner until like four years and we're like we were better off before they came back it's so rainy and gloomy out so i think we're just gonna go to a coffee shop maybe meet up with everybody else walk around yeah in paris mostly because it's around our corner i had to get a little chocolate what was it rated something like best baguette in paris in 2016.

but it's good can't confirm stay tuned coming to netflix near you just wait for the chaos it's already here it's coming in the sequel or the second season season two my brain's out we're gonna oh this is beautiful oh my goodness oh my god there's a cute little christmas market i'm out of breath i'm running so late for reservations we tried catching an uber we tried catching a taxi eventually about the subway now we're running new yorkers they've been training for this moment for years look at those wide faces merry christmas one person wanted a date two people went to a rave you'll never know who is who but one to win will she use this contest i don't know and now we're going to be fenced highly recommend we'll see where the night takes us i would recommend booking a car in advance oh my god panic uber five forms of transportation to get there bring your running shoes poor guy nick what do we have buddy the drama national we said 20.

hello hello later in the evening i went to jardin i'm definitely not pronouncing that right so nick has actually he studied abroad for like six months and did this intensive language learning program he also has like old haunts that he used to go to and he lived here it's one of the spots he used to go to back in the day they have a really beautiful big botanical garden so if you're needing like a little nature fix or maybe if you're missing like a certain more humid climate check it out this is technically our last full proper weekend in paris we have like a week left like fly out next saturday we decided we like kind of invite over our friends in the city and have like a little i guess soiree and enjoy the apartment space while we can because we all love to host damon's coming moya's in town jack lots of youtubers one of our other new friends who's parisian we're just gonna have like drinks and little desserts appetizers should be really lovely it's always great to have people over and get to see everybody a little bit so time to go here of fingers
